Travel through Normandy and Brittany on this 4-day small-group tour from Paris, visiting historic cities, coastal landmarks and some of northern France’s most significant cultural and wartime sites. The route includes Giverny, Rouen, Étretat, Omaha Beach, Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo, combining inland Normandy with the Atlantic coastline.

Visit Monet’s home and gardens in Giverny, walk through the medieval centre of Rouen and see the white chalk cliffs of Étretat overlooking the English Channel. The itinerary also includes Omaha Beach and other important D-Day locations, as well as Mont Saint-Michel, one of France’s most visited landmarks, before continuing to the walled port city of Saint-Malo.

Day 1 :
Paris → Giverny → Rouen → Étretat → Le Havre (270 km)

  • Morning pickup in Paris and travel to Giverny, home of Claude Monet
  • Visit Monet’s House and Gardens, including the water lily pond and Japanese bridge
  • Continue to Rouen, a historic city known for its cathedral and medieval streets
  • Walk through the old town and see Rouen Cathedral, famously painted by Monet
  • Continue to Étretat, known for its white cliffs and natural rock formations
  • See the famous cliff arches, including the formation often called “Elephant Rock”
  • Optional activities: Monet’s Gardens visit, Rouen old town exploration
  • Overnight: Le Havre

Le Havre → Omaha Beach → Caen (210 km)

  • Morning in Le Havre, a coastal city known for its modern reconstruction and seaside setting

  • Overnight: Saint-Malo

Saint-Malo → Le Mans → Paris (400 km)
