Visit Bern’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, take the mountain railway to Jungfraujoch, and spend time in Saas-Fee, a traditional Alpine village surrounded by glaciers and high peaks. The tour also travels through Switzerland’s Italian-speaking south, with stops in Locarno and Bellinzona before returning to Zürich.

Day 1 :
Zürich → Biel → Bern → Interlaken (210 km)

  • Morning pickup in Zürich and begin the journey through northern Switzerland
  • Arrive in Biel, a bilingual lakeside city known for its watchmaking heritage

  • Explore the village surrounded by glaciers and Alpine peaks
  • Optional excursion to Mittelallalin with underground funicular and glacier ice cave
  • Continue south to Locarno, a lakeside town on Lake Maggiore
  • Walk through Piazza Grande, home of the Locarno Film Festival
  • Optional activity: Madonna del Sasso Sanctuary funicular and hilltop church
  • Continue to Bellinzona, famous for its medieval castles
  • Overnight: Bellinzona

Bellinzona → Stoos → Lindt Home of Chocolate → Zürich (175 km)

    • Morning in Bellinzona, a UNESCO-listed city known for its castle fortifications
    • Visit Castelgrande, the largest of Bellinzona’s historic castles
    • Walk through Bellinzona Old Town with views over the surrounding valleys
    • Continue to Schwyz and the mountain resort of Stoos
    • Optional activity: ride the Stoos steep funicular, one of the world’s steepest
    • Reach the Stoos alpine plateau with panoramic lake and mountain views
    • Continue to the Lindt Home of Chocolate in Kilchberg near Zürich
    • Visit the interactive chocolate museum and see the giant chocolate fountain
    • Return to Zürich in the early evening
